Hybrid eCommerce UX/UI Designer – London - Paying up to £65,000 + Package DOE

Amicus recruitment are proud to be working alongside a market leading agency who are looking for a Hybrid eCommerce UX/UI Designer. The successful candidate MUST have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a UI/UX design role, working on large projects, preferably ecommerce and be a forward-thinking individual that is hungry to progress their career. You will be joining a newly formed team of 4 designers reporting to the Head of Design.

The client is a market leader within the eCommerce and online platforms working with some major brands in the retail industry including Jack Wills, Whistles and T.W Lewin to name but a few.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on a range of digital design projects and you will work closely alongside project managers and business analysts to not only engage but also to create the best eCommerce solutions for their clients.

The UX/UI Designer will be showcasing their Sketch, prototyping, and wireframing skills to deliver projects and work on UX solutions. Retail/fashion and ecommerce experience would be advantageous for this role and it is extremely hands-on.

 Essential Skills

  • Proven track record of leading large UX/UI design projects
  • Portfolio of digital design preferably in luxury & premium ecommerce brands.
  • Ability to write responsive HTML and CSS to produce viable responsive UI designs and HTML content layouts
  • Excellent problem solver, always trying to come up with the best solution to a problem.
  • Great communication skills for explaining ideas and discussing solutions with developers, clients and other team members.
  • Passionate about design and user experience and always keeping up to date with latest design and UX trends.
