My client is an exciting young ad tech start up and are looking to hire their next Head of Engineering. This opportunity is perfect for an experienced Tech Lead or someone at a Head of Engineering who is looking to take the next step in their career to be the technical head of the company and drive the platform forward.
The company founded 5 years ago specialise in providing a B2B SaaS platform which is a marketplace that connects individuals with large national organisations. Through this platform, individuals can source, create, and manage the whole process from recruitment to campaign timeline management.
This exciting young company currently employ over 50 people in Europe and USA with a dedicated team of Engineers and Developers being based remotely in the UK. They are looking to grow as they consistently onboard new clients.
As a Head of Engineering, you will manage a small team currently consisting of 2 developers and your first role will be to work alongside the internal and external team on the deployment of their new system which is going live in Q2/Q3 of this year. They are investing into their engineering team and they are looking to grow significantly in the coming year. You will be responsible for leading and managing the development of several greenfield projects and help shape the culture within the technology team. One of their upcoming projects revolves around the addition of a data driven platform to their current product offerings to begin to utilise the full potential of the industry.
This unique opportunity will allow you to work alongside an experienced C-suite and be the leading tech figure in a growing company.
You will be working with board members to meet product and delivery deadlines whilst managing and guiding whole production lifecycle from design to testing to deployment.
As the company grow you will play an integral part in the hiring, mentoring, and coaching of new developers.
- Minimum 8 years Software Development Experience
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with CI/CD
- Experienced in AWS.
- Experience leading teams
- Experience working with C-Suite employees
On offer is a salary between £80,000 - £85,000 along with a competitive benefit including stock options 25 days holiday, medical, pension and remote first working policy.
