Job Description

Frontend Developer – Angular – Fintech - £55,000 - £70,000

I’m currently working alongside a SAAS business who spotted a niche within the fintech space & have capitalized on that to become a ‘one of a kind’ software provider.

What will I be working on?

They have three core products which are all built on separate codebases & all have a very different use based on their target audience. Due to an influx of new users, they are looking to do a full scale rebuild of their existing platform & would also like the frontend team to get involved in building the roadmap for their next product.

What experience do I need?

The UI of all of their products is built in Angular 11, so experience using Angular 2+ is key. They obviously use TypeScript too & use RxJS for all state management. If you have backend experience then fantastic. If not – it’s not a problem. They use .Net core but it’s unlikely that you will ever need to delve into any backend code unless you have a desire to.

Although it’s definitely not essential, it would certainly be a benefit if you have worked on fintech products before or perhaps even have experience within financial services from a different perspective!

How does the team operate?

You will be working within a team of 10 developers, who all work closely with the CTO. They are not a fan of ‘hierarchies’ and like every member of the team to have their input – regardless of seniority. They’re all working from home at the minute but would ideally like people to have some facetime in the office eventually (2-3 days a week).

The tech stack

Remember – this is a list of the tools that you will be using in the role but you do not need to have years of experience in all of them (well, apart from Angular)!

  • Angular 11
  • TypeScript
  • RxJS
  • D3.js
  • ES6+

The package

On top of a base salary ranging between £55,000 - £70,000 (dependent on experience as they are hiring for mids & seniors), you will get access to a great benefits package. This includes:

  • Generous share options
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
  • Tickets for technology events
  • Discounted gym membership

Sound like your next role? Yes? Then please get in touch & let's book you in for an interview!
