You will be working closely alongside the CTO to build & implement new features on the product as well as helping to build the engineering team around you. They have previously used a hybrid of internal and outsourced Dev teams, but they are now looking to solely focus on their internal department. Although you will be 90% hands on in the role, you will be responsible for mentoring more junior developers and taking part in code reviews etc.
Established for over 6 years now, this company have established themselves as market leaders in their industry and have become a trusted partner for some of the UK’s leading councils. They are keen to use this hire as a base to build their engineering team on and hit the ground running with some exciting new projects.
Based in a great office in Central London, they’re currently a team of 15 with a great social culture. This means team socials are a regular thing and they are also very flexible in how you work. There is the option to work 1 or 2 days remotely, so long as you are close by enough to make it into the office for the other days.
You must have experience in these skills to be successful in this position:
- Angular 2+ (Their front end is currently built in Angular 6)
- AWS - Lambda
As well of a salary between £50,000 - £80,000, the company offer great benefits including 23 days holidays (plus bank holidays), pension scheme, free eye tests, team trips in Summer and at Christmas. This role of course also allows the option of working remotely for up to 2 days per week.
