Job Description

Technical Project Manager (Finance) – London – Up to £60k + Package

Amicus recruitment are proud to be representing a rapidly growing financial organisation based in London. They are a tech organisation that provide software for the forex and trading worlds.

The Technical Project Manager will sit within the programme office You will ensure projects are delivered to consistently high standards. The whole infrastructure and ops team is c150 in size.

Play a leading role in defining project scope and deliverables, defining project and resource plans from initiation to closure, identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies of all projects.

 

You will be responsible for: -

Maintaining the project backlogs and prioritising workload to support delivery, managing projects from start to finish, devising project plans and presentations, escalate project issues up the chain, conduct project “lessons learned” sessions.

Experience: -

Strong technical background, experience managing multiple projects concurrently (both technical and infrastructure), experience in delivering agile development projects, able to deliver projects to budget and on spec. Recognised PM certification (PMP, APM, PRINCE2 etc..) Financial services experience desired.

Ability to understand and communicate Technical and Infrastructure conversations, ability to manage and motivate teams, strong stakeholder management skills, excellent problem solver, understanding of micro-services architecture databases, storage, infrastructure services network, ITIL knowledge desired.
