The Role
I am currently working with a Start-up whose focus is to digitalise company’s liquid assets, allowing them to free up their funds and invest them in a more positive way. A real unique company set up within a niche market, this role will allow you to gain access to the latest tech stack and work on projects that you would not get the opportunity to elsewhere.
We are looking a Golang Engineer who has a genuine passion for building scalable web platforms. You will work within an engineering team that has experienced fantastic growth over the last year or so, with them now having eight engineers as well as their CTO and other product professionals.
They are currently building out a customer facing web application that allows users to complete a usually complex task in a very simple way, as well as constantly updating their internal customer management platform. Their new web app is being built out in Golang across the backend, which is where your main skills should lie. The team are huge advocates of TDD so experience with one or more testing functions is essential.

Having been in business for over two years now, this company are looking to build up their development team by another 5-10 people this year. This is a real opportunity for you to get into a fast-growing company that are already market leaders due to their niche focus. They have received investment from some of the largest consultancies, so they are here to stay. You will be based in their office in London whilst in communication with other members of staff based across the World.

Skills
You must have experience in these skills to be successful in this position:
Essential
- Golang (preferred) would consider C++ or Python
- TDD
- GCP
- SQL, NoSQL and either MongoDB or Postgres
Desirable
- Experience with Docker
- Experience working within a fast-growing Start-up
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
Package
On top of a salary between £40,000 - £80,000, you will receive incredible early stage equity and 40 days holiday including bank holidays. This company also offer some flexible working hours and options to work from home.
