The FinTech of the future – done better, faster and cheaper. A bleeding edge Tech business who are taking on the big guns of FinTech in a completely new and innovative form, building out the first ever product of its kind. Remote first, user focused and a true market disrupter. Only two years old and already entering scale-up phase after receiving over £11million in funding, they are scaling existing products and building out brand new branches of their offering as well as expanding into wider global markets…watch this space! They’ve been making money from day one and are now focusing on user growth, they’re hoping that you can be a part of that!

They’re truly a remote-first business, with the existing Tech team working across over 10 different time zones, they can consider talent from literally anywhere in the world.

You’ll join a team of 14 super-smart techies to build out the blockchain payment infrastructure of the future.

This is not a traditional payments model and there are currently no other businesses in the world who are doing what they are doing! You’ll be opening up entirely new ways of making and receiving payments whilst learning something new every day. You’ll be building out the complex backend microservices and APIs using Golang in a GCP, containerised environment.

As well as a true passion for Technology, there are some skills and experience you’ll need to have picked up in your Software Engineering career, these include:

  • Golang experience (2 years+ commercially)
  • Docker, Kubernetes and GCP experience would be highly desirable
  • Experience working on secure products with other Engineers
  • Strong understanding of microservice architecture and APIs – design and build
  • Experience with high traffic platforms

Salaries are dependent on experience and fit, from around £70,000 to £120,000. They’re working on putting a really competitive benefits package together but at the moment you get a generous holiday allowance of 28 days plus bank holidays, good pension scheme and the ability to work fully remotely – from anywhere in the world!

Firstly, send me your CV/LinkedIn profile and phone number. We’ll have a chat about your experience. Then it’s a quick, 2 stage informal interview process with no tech test! Interview one will be more cultural, discussing experience and projects. Interview two will be a technical deep dive and introduction to the team. All being well, you could be offered the role and be on-boarded as soon as you’re ready to start
