Senior Software Engineer – Python/Blockchain - Berlin – Up to €130k (DOE)
Amicus Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a Blockchain business who are looking for two Senior Developers to join their talented engineering team.
You will be brought in to help with developing their protocol from scratch so you will need to have extremely strong Python Development skills & a deep understanding of how Python applications are built. You’ll ideally be someone who knows what libraries available, what solutions are needed and not have to rely on Stackoverflow or GitHub to support you in the creation of top-quality code.
The company started building their existing blockchain/Ethereum product just over 4 years ago and you’ll be joining an existing team of 4 software engineers. This team is likely to double in size over the next 6-9 months as the company have ambitious plans over the next year. They have a very good culture & offer superb working conditions with a cool modern office & free drinks/snacks available. As a team they attend tech conferences across Europe and once a year (DevCon etc) & they treat all their employees to an all expenses paid trip away to the likes of Mexico, The Philippines, Majorca etc.
You must have experience in these skills to be successful in this position:
- Python – Deep understanding
- Strong background of developing enterprise / distributed applications
- Mathematical / theoretic problem solver
- Experience with Git, Gitflow & CI (Continuous Integration)
- Agile / TDD
- Knowledge/Passion for blockchain/Ethereum is highly beneficial
- Strong written & spoken English (German is desirable)
