Senior Software Engineer - Polyglot – London or remote
This remote first Tech for Good Software business are looking to scale their close-knit Engineering Team as sales are skyrocketing, they are expanding their product to accommodate client demand.

They were founded 5 years ago by technology professionals and have over 35 people across the business and 17 currently in their engineering team comprising of a CTO, 13 software developers across various levels and 3 devops engineers.
You may be asked to pop into the Central London office from time to time but other than that you will have full flexibility to work from home – anywhere in the UK is fine. You are more than welcome to work onsite more often if you prefer.
Although you will be working with the software engineering team, you will almost act as an individual contributor and will be 100% hands on. As a Senior / Principal engineer, you will be solving extremely complex problems, developing new products, and creating and architecting systems using any tool and technology you deem appropriate. You will have experience in systems that gather data at one end and then create complex algorithmic code at the other end. The business currently uses technologies internally such as Golang, Java, C++ and Python and you will ideally have experience of two or more open source programming languages.

- 5 years minimum Software Engineering Experience (open source)
- Experience of two of the following technologies – Golang, C++, Java, Python, PHP
- Architecture experience
- Experience working with cloud-based systems and Linux
- CI/CD experience

The platform is high traffic with lots of transactions, so some experience with Big Data would be fantastic.

The salary is dependent on experience in the range of £75,000 - £95,000.
