Job Description

Senior/Principal Computer Vision Engineer – Fully Remote (UK Based) – Up to £85,000

I am working with a brilliant AI company who are looking for a Senior/Principal Computer Vision Engineer to join their team.

Company

The business has developed 2x cutting edge object detection products that monitor how busy hospitality outlets, leisure, and travel destinations get at different periods of a day, week, and month. This has enabled their customers to operate more efficiently, reduce expenditure on labour and increase sales. They have been in operation for around 5 years and are now pushing for Series A funding this year. They currently have 15 people within the business and are looking to scale up in headcount throughout 2021 as they look to scale their products.

The Role

Joining the team as a Senior/Principal Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing end to end Machine Learning solutions that are both scalable and efficient. You’ll have complete ownership of the technology you create and the products you build will be a key contribution. One project you will be working on will optimise the MLOps process to improve algorithms already in place and you will also be building, training and deploying new models. R&D will play a fundamental part in your role and you should be keen to discover the best methods and applications for the system you are building.

Skills you’ll need:

· 3yrs+ commercial experience building end to end models

· Python/TensorFlow/AWS/Keras

· Solid understanding of MLOps

· Experienced in Computer Vision

· Background in software development/engineering
