Senior / Lead Java Developer – Central London – £60k - £80k

An innovative fintech start-up are looking for a talented Senior/Lead Java Developer to join at the forefront of their development team based in Central London.

Skills

To be successful, you must be highly competent in:

  • Java (4+ years’ experience)
  • Spring Boot
  • SQL and Hibernate
  • Integration via external services

It would be highly desirable to have experience with:

  • NoSQL databases
  • React/Redux
  • AWS
  • Redis / Memcached or similar

Role

  • Designing, developing and maintaining software of the highest standard in an agile environment
  • Working on constructing APIs and integrations
  • Mentoring junior members of the team and assisting in team decisionmaking
  • Working collaboratively with team members and engaging in oneoff projects if required

Personality

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong passion for software
  • Willingness to learn and onboard new technologies
  • Independently motivated as well as team motivated
