Data Engineer / Airflow / Python / Start-up / £85,000
I am currently working with a very exciting early-stage London start up. They are a Prop-Tech business whose focus is to automate many of the complex tasks in financial risk management. Due to excessive growth with their clients, they are looking for a Data Engineers to join a greenfield product team lead by their new experienced CTO.
The company specialises in providing a one-of-a-kind solution for the Financial Risks of property transactions through using their cutting-edge Saas platform. Their platform, that is already in use at several high-profile UK firms, allows the automation of a historically long manual risk analysis processes to prevent transactions falling through. They achieved seed funding for over £3million last year and have grown to 20 people spread across 3 teams, with 14 engineers in total. They are now preparing to expand into new markets and are looking to add two Backend Engineers and a Data Engineer to build out a new team.
As a Data Engineer, you will be joining a newly formed team who are designing and developing a greenfield Saas product as they look to expand into new markets both in the UK and Internationally. You will have the opportunity to design and develop the company’s data warehouse as well as establishing the foundations for new data pipelines. As one of a couple of Data Engineers in this new team you will own the end-end development and lay the foundations for the company’s growth whilst also being heavily involved in architecture and code reviews.
You will have the opportunity to work in a close-knit collaborative environment working across multiple teams, and reporting into a CTO who has grown some outstanding tech businesses over the past ten years!
- Extensive Airflow Experience
- Experience designing and building Data Warhouses
- Experience building and automating ETL pipelines
- Previous experience working in a startup desirable
- Experience Coding with Python
On offer is a salary of up to £85,000 as well as a fantastic benefits package including equity, £1000 personal development allowance, regular socials and 25day holiday.
