Python Engineer / NumPy / Pandas / SQL / TDD / £60,000 - £85,000

I’m working with an award-winning data and analytics business who are growing out their UK engineering team and are now looking for several talented Python Engineers.

This position offers a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful FinTech start-up and be an integral part of their future growth.

About you…

You will be building out their back-end data analytics platform which is widely used across the finance and banking domain. The ideal candidate must be passionate about delivering the highest quality of work and ensuring satisfaction for their end clients. You will also be working in

Having been founded around five years ago, the company currently have 40 employees building out their enterprise application. With 20 across the development team, you will be focused on building out certain components of their platform. They currently work with a number of the biggest banks worldwide, with a number of greenfield projects taking place with several other customers within the banking / trading sector. You will join a team of 10 Java Developers, 7 Frontend developer’s, 3 Python Engineers working extremely closely with a technical client services function. They have received over 15 million in funding to date and plan to double the size of the engineering department over the next 12 months.

Essential skills:

  • Minimum of three years Python experience
  • Python libraries – Pandas/NumPy
  • SQL
  • Understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with test driven development
  • BSc in Computer Science or similar degree
