Job Description

Lead / Principle Frontend Engineer - React / Vue - Fintech - £80,000 - £120,000

I am proud to be working with a fantastic tech for good, remote first business that are scaling massively. They are on the lookout for a fully hands-on Lead Engineer to join the team & work across multiple daily releases.

They were founded 3 years ago, have already grown to 100+ employees and have an engineering team of around 30. They are building a one-of-a-kind platform which is currently being used by hundreds of leading organisations across the UK and that client base is growing on a weekly basis. The platform itself is being used by hundreds of thousands of individuals within the UK and with the ever-growing increase in demand, they need someone to work within their applications team.

The engineering team currently sits at around 30 people but as a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will be joining their onboarding team of 5. The applications team that you will be working within are some of the busiest people within the business, as they do multiple releases each day! The majority of the platform that you will be working on is built in React. However they do have a seperate platform which has already been fully built in Vue.js. Eventually you will be working across both platforms simultaneously but for now, they are happy to consider people with strong experience in either framework.

To be considered you will need experience in the following:

  • React OR Vue.js - 3+ years experience
  • ES7+
  • AWS
  • Webpack
  • Any backend experience in Node / Python (desirable)

The company are offering a salary between £80,000 - £120,000 along with stock options, 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, brilliant paternal and maternal leave, health and wellness schemes + many more.

They have recently become a remote first business so it is entirely up to you whether you work from their London office or fully remote within the UK.
