Performance Test Engineer – London – Up to £500p/d (DOE)

Amicus Recruitment are proud to be working with a market leading software provider who are on the lookout for a Performance Test Engineer on a 6-month contract. Based out of their offices in central London, you’ll be brought in to help with the quality and testing architecture that their department produces.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the performance testing is carried out across all their products. This is a varied role in that you go into different teams, gather requirements, understand their deliverables and SLA’s then script the solution.

You will be the type of individual who will give solutions on how performance can be improved


Established over 17 years ago, this company have grown to be a market leader in their sector. Their head office is based in central London with over 400 people and are looking to continuously expand throughout 2018 and beyond. Their IT department is split up into 9 different SCRUM teams.

The QA team is 28 people strong with 18 in their London office. You will be part of a team of 3 other performance test engineers that report into the Head of Test.

You must have experience in these skills to be successful in this position:

  • Proven experience as a Performance Tester
  • C# Experience
  • Experience with Visual Studio Performance testing Suite
  • Experience performance testing .NET applications & web services
  • Experience setting up performance test from requirement gathering to execution
  • Produce reports of test results
  • Experience coding load test scripts

Experience with Azure and Elastic Search is highly desirable


In return you’ll be rewarded with a daily rate of £475-£500p/d over a 6 month initial contract
