Amicus recruitment are proud to be working with a leading technology business with a global footprint. They are continuing their growth and are currently looking to strengthen their Global team my hiring a Infrastructure Manager.
The company have rapidly grown since they were formed and now have over 800 employees across the globe with over 20 offices that the Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for. They develop an innovative platform to enable members to discover high end entertainment globally. Last year the business welcomed a new CTO and a Global Head of IT who you will report into. This has proven already to be a great success and will have a huge impact on growth over the next 5 years.
The business has created a brand-new role to set them up for their plans in the immediate future. They are looking for a Technical Infrastructure Lead to come in and play a huge part in architecting their entire infrastructure estate. You will be responsible for de-commissioning some of their old infrastructure systems and upgrading into the latest technology as part of their growth. You will also be responsible for leading the Global infrastructure team of 10 highly skilled infrastructure Engineers The majority are in London with two working at another one of their offices.
Given they still class themselves as an SME, they are looking for a very strong all-rounder with a focus around Architecture, operational processes and very strong around the Server side. The Infrastructure manager will be expected to be around 50% hands on initially but as they upgrade their technologies will focus more on growing, coaching and building out the team.
- A good understanding of fundamental Infrastructure technologies (Sever, storage, network, cloud etc)
- Datacentre experience – Ideally in a global capacity with Datacentre’s in different regions
- Experience of Architecture
- VMWare and virtulisation experience
- Good operational experience – Ideally good understanding of ITIL or certified
- Passion for working on exciting greenfield projects
