Amicus Recruitment are proud to be representing a young start up based in central London who are looking for a Head of Engineering to lead their growing development team.
They were formed just over 5 years ago and have grown considerably since then. The business currently has just short of 100 employees across the UK 16 of which are within the development team which is split between 4 front end developers and 12 full stack developers. They are continuing this growth throughout 2019 and are looking to bring on board an additional 5 developers by the end of Q1. Their in-house product has been a huge success across the UK and they have now set their sight on expanding across Europe.
They are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to manage employees across multiple sights. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining their market leading platform and will be the main driver of new ideas and functionalities. You will be reporting in to the CTO of the business and will have a key role in managing the expectations of the senior leadership team.
Requirements for the role:
- Demonstrated the ability to manage small/medium sized development teams
- You will also have a long and successful history in software development
- Must have a strong customer centric mentality
- A background in the financial services, insurance or eCommerce industry would be a huge bonus
