Head of Product – Up to £85k – London
A new start up within a global brand, they are trying to deliver innovative SaaS products and packages that they can white label and sell to the market
They are looking to put a drive on supplying to a wide market, venturing into new sectors and parts of the world with an ever-improving SaaS product. They are looking to take this product to market asap.
They have a really collaborative environment with the freedom to create. Ideas are shared constantly, and valuable ideas are explored and implemented. They have a global brand but have a proper start up feel to the team.
As a Head of Product in a small team, you will take the lead on delivery of all products and features for the business, including responsibility of marketing strategies and commercials whilst running the E2E process of taking the products to market.
You will be supported by a team of around 10, this will include developers and product owners that you will take charge of. You will report into the MD.
You will be the one responsible for delivering new features for an innovative SaaS product turning complex problems into simple solutions.
You will own the end-to-end delivery of the product, from concept through to build and go to market.
You will have the opportunity to grow a team and hugely influence the direction of the product, and therefore the business.
Your day to day will see you:
• Brainstorming, working with the design team, senior management, engineering among others to flesh out brand new ideas.
• motivating driving the team whilst managing it all from a matrix view-point
• Engaging with stakeholders and customers to make sure product is kept on spec.
Ideally you will need to have 5+ years’ experience in Senior Product Management or “Head of” roles, able to convey complicated information clearly and concisely.
You will have a strong B2B background, ideally working on data heavy SaaS platforms.
As you will be managing a delivery team, it’s important that you’re a team player, and have some prior leadership experience.
In a nutshell, you will need to demonstrate experience of the following:
- Delivering SaaS products
- Matrix Managing product teams
- Agile/Scrum/SLDC experience
- Creating user journeys and product roadmaps
- Experience of building products from the ground up and taking them to market would be desirable.
- Taking new products to market
A generous starting salary of up to £85,000 (DOE) up to 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, company pension, bonus scheme of 10%, healthcare etc…
