Passionate about their mission, and passionate about Tech, they are building software to educate users, save them lots of money and help to improve the environment.

The Role
You may be asked to pop into the Central London office from time to time but other than that you will have full flexibility to work from home – anywhere in the UK is fine. You are more than welcome to work onsite more often if you prefer.

You’ll work in a small scrum team as part of a larger Software Engineering function; the scrum team is made up of Backend and Frontend Engineers as well as DevOps Engineers and you’ll be joining to work on the Backend of their platform.

  • 12 months professional Golang experience, building out Microservices and APIs
  • Experience working with gRPC and Linux
  • A desire to work with passionate people and would like to make the world a better place!

The platform is high traffic with lots of transactions, so some experience with Big Data would be fantastic. C++ knowledge would be a big plus point too, although you will be coding purely in Golang.

The Perks
Work with a team of friends who advocate flexibility in the workplace and are big believers in work/life balance. The team and the Founders will support you with personal development, you will be given an annual budget to use for your own growth. Competitive contributory pension scheme and 25 days annual leave. There are many more including wellness, socials, trips abroad, the list goes on…

The salary is dependent on experience in the range of £40,000 - £70,000.
