Job Description

Frontend Developer * 2 – Fintech – React – £380-£420p/d – Outside IR35

We are proud to be working alongside a leading fintech in London who are on the lookout for TWO Frontend Engineers to join them on an initial 3 month basis.

You will be brought in to help build a new B2B platform in React & JavaScript for a FTSE 100 finance client.

This role is FULLY REMOTE however you must be based in the UK.  

The business who was founded 7 years ago have around 225 employees and are looking to grow organically over the next 12 months as they continue to build out their platform.

The Engineering Department currently sits at around 70 people, that encompassed 9 scrum teams of 8 developers. Each scrum team works on a particular part of the product that has a B2C and B2B arm. They have a real core engineering function with daily stand ups and two-week sprints.

Even though they are established, they have a fantastic culture and have been voted in the top 25 best small companies to work for. They build out their application in React and also host on the cloud using AWS. I have given an overview of the key skills below:

  • Experience leading large UI projects, building out a component library and mentoring junior members. 
  • Strong experience with React
  • Excellent JavaScript experience
  • Strong background developing cutting edge applications for a product business.
  • Knowledge of frontend architecture
  • Fintech experience beneficial
  • Experience with TDD
  • Experience building Rest API’s

They are looking for engineers ideally with Jenkins and CI/CD experience, but this is more desirable than essential.
