Frontend Developer - SportTech – London Based (Remote) – Up to £80,000

Amicus Recruitment are proud to be working alongside a leading sports-tech company who are currently looking for frontend developers to join their growing team.

The Company:

The business currently has around 20 employees and has recently achieved over £5M in funding to achieve their goals of huge growth within the sporting sector. They are based in Central London and are heavily involved in data science, receiving sponsorship from industry giants who are fully behind the project. You will have the opportunity to learn from an extremely talented team and build a product that is revolutionising this sector.

The Team:

The Engineering Department involves a tight knit team around 10 people. Working alongside 2 UI Designers, 2 Cloud Engineers and 4 Frontend Developers, you will be responsible for implementing and designing a frontend application building out a dashboard and data drive analytics application using React.

They have a clear concise goal and will hopefully have the product released by the start of next year and you will help to develop there MVP and then build the product out as it goes into production. The company are completely flexible and they are happy for you to work fully remotely within the UK. As a frontend developer you will have an excellent appreciation of design as well as having experience in building visualisation tools ideally! I have given an overview of the key skills below:

Key skills required:

  • JavaScript - 4 years experience
  • React experience – 2/3 years experience (minimum)
  • Experience building API’s – Ideally with GraphQL
  • Experience with Data Visualisation tools e.g. D3/Three.js

They are offering a salary range from £60,000-£80,000 with a great benefits package which includes a performance-based bonus up to 30% and equity options. They have introduced a remote working policy but you would be required on-site once every 2/3 weeks.
