It’s hard to acknowledge and appreciate what’s happened in a year until you really take a step back and remember where you were this time last year and where you are now.
That’s why I love December. It’s the perfect time to reflect, recharge and make new goals for the coming year.
So, when I sat down last night and thought about our year at Amicus Recruitment, I couldn’t be prouder of where we are and what we’ve done to get to this point.
12 months on, we’ve moved to an office 8x in size, grown the team to 7 (with another consultant set to join in January) and have plans to be 12 in size by the middle of 2019. For a company that's organically growing without the financial backing of any outside investor, I couldn’t be prouder.
Since the start of the year, we have seen 3 staff promotions, 8 record company months, 4 record company quarters & we’ve enjoyed quarterly achiever trips to Dublin, Manchester & Dusseldorf, with a trip to Marbella on the cards for our annual achiever trip!
The best thing though is the team culture we’re creating. We’ve been selective in the wonderful people we’ve brought in, focussing on hiring passionate, dedicated, friendly, honest, consultative individuals that really live up to our values as a company. I’m so excited to see what we can achieve as a company and equally excited to help all our staff reach their potential and have successful careers whilst they choose to be with us on our journey.
Despite all of the talent, hard work and effort that our team have put into our successes this year, we couldn’t have done it without the help & support of our amazing clients and candidates. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone that we’ve engaged with this year and hope that we can continue to build on the world class relationships that we’ve developed over the past 12 months.
2018, it’s been incredible, but I’m honestly so excited about what Amicus Recruitment will achieve in 2019 and beyond. Bring it on!
