Amicus is engaged with a fast growing start up developing a cutting edge open source technology used within the AI sector. They are looking to add a senior cloud platform engineer to their already growing team. 

This role offers flexible working schedule, on a Hybrid model, the onsite working will be from their modern offices in the San Francisco bay area!

With only being in operation for the last 5 years, this exciting open-source company is on the rise and is just getting started. They have established themselves as one of the heavy-hitting tech companies in their sector in the short amount of time they’ve been around.

They are a well-funded organization with a significant runway to enable their growth. They currently have over 100 people within the company that are dispersed globally. They are headquartered in San Francisco and are looking to operate on a hybrid model.

Role

The successful candidate will be working this clients innovative platform, developing distributed database's, Creating plans to develop new systems to assist with prototype testing and verification. 

This role will see you writing Architecture level code, whilst supporting technical issues that arise during the development of the product, they will also take ownership of the product performance, site reliability, and conduct research to improve these areas. 

Technical requirements
Candidates must have experience with the following:

• 4+ years of developing cloud native systems
• Container orchestration such as Kubernetes
• AWS, GCP or Azure cloud platform experience
• Active contributor to PAAS platforms (Snowflake, Confluent, Databricks, MongoDB, RedShift Etc.)
• Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline 

Benefits 

Salary will be dependent on experience and is between $200,000 - $250,000. This will be supported with equity, bonus, health insurance, and 401(K) plus more!

This role will be hybrid with 3 days in the office, though flexible the scheduled on site days are Tuesday to Thursday
